Figure description: A winding, colorful road shows the learning pathway in this program. There are 4 checkpoints to represent the four steps to learning in this program.
Step One is a virtual kick-off meeting, where you’ll be able to learn more about our journey together over the next few months. Participants can choose to attend on either February 20, 2025, between 1-2 p.m., or February 25, 2025, between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Step Two is a series of e-modules. Participants will complete the three and a half hour, virtual, self-paced program titled “2SLGBTQ Foundations”. Once started, the modules must be completed within thirty days. The modules will be completed between March and May.
Step Three is a virtual question and answers session. Participants will be able to drop-in and ask questions or to hear what others are learning. Sessions will be offered on various dates in April and May.
Step Four is an in-person session. Participants will attend the two-hour in-person session titled “Removing the Barriers – Making Your Organization 2SLGBTQ Friendly”, which will be offered at various dates in June at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph.
In the Next Steps, participants can join us this summer to reflect on our learnings and brainstorm ways to build a supportive environment for our colleagues while delivering outstanding healthcare to those we serve.
